Our Team

Linda Bentz, CPM, LM

Linda grew up in Waukegan, IL and has lived almost exclusively in Wisconsin since the early 90’s. She became interested in birth work during her years of involvement with La Leche League as she heard the many variations of birth experiences those women had.  At that time, she felt that she was given a promise that she would be deeply involved in helping women in childbirth someday.

In 2001, she took a CNA course and eventually worked as an OB Tech in the hospital setting.  This experience proved invaluable as it gave her a respect for the services the hospital can provide when needed and the experience of observing many different health care providers.

She then received doula training through DONA in 2005 and in 2008 began apprenticing with a homebirth midwife. She also spent one summer working in a free-standing birth center. She completed her midwife training in the summer of 2014 and took the NARM exam in the spring of 2015.  Linda is currently a Certified Professional Midwife through North America Registry of Midwives and a Licensed Midwife in the state of Wisconsin.

In her free time, Linda enjoys traveling, kayaking, hiking and spending time with family.

Molly Dever - Student Midwife

Molly is family-focused and faith-led. Since 2015, Molly has felt called to be a Midwife. Every decision since then has been in pursuit of that purpose. Apprenticing under Linda has given Molly the opportunity to pursue what God has called her to do.

Molly believes that God created women to have the magnificent ability to birth their children in a natural and holistic way. She is passionate about educating and empowering women to make well-informed decisions for themselves and their babies as they learn and grow throughout their pregnancy. Molly is honored to be given the opportunity to walk alongside women and help individualize care that best fits their needs.

Molly’s experience as an ER nurse and a labor and delivery nurse has prepared her for the stresses and unpredictability that child birth can sometimes bring. Those experiences have helped teach her how to bring comfort and confidence in all circumstances.

In her free time, Molly enjoys reading, baking, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Jesse.

Stephanie - Office Manager

Stephanie and Linda have known each other for over ten years but Stephanie didn’t truly understand the unique beauty and power of a natural or home birth until her own natural birth in 2023. Since then, she’s been eager to spread the word!

She has five years of office assistant experience in a healthcare setting and has worked for DHS in Minnesota for three years. She loves to-do lists, hanging out with animals, spending time outside and going on road trips!
